Blue lily flower

The Wayamba University of Sri Lanka has launched a research project to spread the tissue culture of the Nil Balakaya, the national flower of Sri Lanka.

Researchers say that the purple dandelion is often not found in the market and the marshy lands, and that it is not the correct Nilmarn blossom, and that the blue lily is blue.

The research is conducted under the patronage of Dr Prasanth Perera of the Department of Agriculture and Plantation Management at the Wayamba University, Department of Botanical Gardens and Plantation. The National Research Council has made a financial contribution towards this.

"As the Blue Lily Flower, we have often identified a purple lily flower. It's not really blue lily flower. It is a novelty to Sri Lanka. It is now a threat to the blue lily plant. The purple blue lily is spreading rapidly. This is a threat to blue lily. Blue lily is also threatened. "

"The Blue Lily flower is used as a herbal remedy to treat various tumors. The blue lily, which is a good antidote for cancer treatment and anti-diabetic care, can also be used to maintain good health. In addition, it is also used as a diet and a staple diet. "

"It is our responsibility to protect this national flower for future generations. We started this research for this purpose. Usually, the blue lily tree's growth rate is very low. Therefore, we hope to conquer the lily plant with the most reliable method of tissue culture. In our research, the Blue Lily plant will be released to aquatic ecosystems and further preserved. We hope to grow large plants and analyze and spread them under different environmental conditions. "

"Research student Chathuranga Fernando has also taken the initiative to carry out research to introduce an effective method for this. Professor Deepthi Yakandawala of the University of Peradeniya and Dr. Kapila Yakandawala of the Wayamba University have contributed to identify the correct blue lily tree. This research will help to protect our national flora. "
